Neutralenlager (Neutral Camp) at Bergen-Belsen KZ/Gedenkstätte

Established in Jul 1943 and consisting of Blocks 7 and 8, the Neutralenlager held prisoners with passports from neutral countries.

Circa November 1944 the Neutralenlager was moved to Blocks 308, 309, 310 and 311. Blocks 7 and 8 became part of the Häftlingslager.

Compared to other sections of Bergen-Belsen, conditions here were quite tolerable until March 1945.

Prisoners did not have to work.
