Brief History

Before the war employed as a bookeeper and shorthand writer.

13 January 1940 arrested by the Gestapo for membership of the Polish Underground Movement

Sentence to death by a German Courts Martial at Cracow.

Death sentence converted to lifetime imprisonment.

28 April 1942 transferred to Auschwitz.

August 1942 transferred to Birkenau.

04 or 05 February 1945 arrives at Bergen-Belsen

Arrested in Wentorf Displaced Persons Camp 31st July 1945 by the British.

17 September 1945. Stands trial at the 'Trial of Josef Kramer and Forty Four others' at 30 Lindenstraße, Lüneburg. Charged with Count 2.

17 November 1945. Sentenced to 10 Years Imprisonment.

10 May 1946 committed suicide.
