Built prior to 1942, probably when the Baulager was converted into Stalag XI C/311 and used as part of the camp Wehrmacht administration until it was transferred into the hands of the SS. The British Army did not destroy this block in April/May 1945, and was used, until 1953, as part of the Wohnlager for refugees. Can you help? Please contact me with any information you may have. |
