Block 198 at Bergen-Belsen KZ/Gedenkstätte

   

Built sometime prior to 1942 as part of POW camp Stalag XI C/311, and then part of the POW Hospital until January 1945. At Christmas 1944 Polish Army Officers were housed in this block. After this it became part of the Zigeunerlager (Gypsy Camp) until liberation.
