Ungarnlager (Hungarian Camp) at Bergen-Belsen KZ/Gedenkstätte

July 1944 the Ungarnlager was established for 1683 Hungarian Jews that Himmler negotiated with other countries in exchange for money and goods. The camp initially consisted of Blocks 11 and 12 until November 1944 when the prisoners had to vacate Block 12, and share Block 11 as part of the Sonderlager due to the establishment of the Häftlingslager II.

Prisoners did not have to work.
